Maeve Campbell, Lily Levinson & Minna Jeffery are Good Friends.
They make weird theatre about the kitsch, the cult & the camp.
They offer an irreverent, feminist perspective on collective nostalgia & cultural memory.
They develop dramaturgies that reflect their eclectic pop-culture influences.
They’re political. They’re funny. They like to dance.
Good Friends met on the MA Text & Performance at RADA & Birkbeck.
Their first production, Shades of Mediocrity, was about Simon & Garfunkel, friendship & the cult of male genius.
This show was supported by Theatre Deli, Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre & Camden People’s Theatre, & was produced at the Old Red Lion in February 2020.
In 2020 they started writing The Netherhole Martyr. They were Bathway associate artists with the University of Greenwich, culminating in a staged reading in November 2022.
